Ciggerettes tainted
With lipstick trails
Leading to lace veils
Uncover your face
For your eyes...
Are the despiration
We need to survive

Laying on the floor
Broken bottles remain
From the night before
Your cold fingers
Intertwined with mine

So many nights
Come and pass
And yet I ponder
Why we are still alive

Fighting the morbid curse
He spoke in my ear softly,
"There could always be worse"
For the blood trails still remain

With my arms
Wrapped around your neck
Haunted melodys
Playing in our heads

We are the lost poets
We are the forgotten kids
