My Own Perception.
Days seem to run together
Like ink on a wet page
Moments seem to disappear
Introduced, only to fade.
I question life with all I've learned
Learning to open my eyes
To every detail,
For the smallest things in life
Are what inspires me the most.
You look at me,
With lighting in your eyes
I recognize these simple signs
For we all have an appetite for desire
I hope the past is burns like a wildfire
Let the ashes blow away,
For they will start a life anew.
I want more then anything...
To be noticed.
Not for how I dress,
Or how I act,
But for how I see life.
My perception of reality,
Is something I want to share
With every person who looks up to me.
Who like's me for who I am inside.
When the rain is softly falling
Echoing the mildest sounds
The grey clouds....
Teach me that words,
Are not always meant to be spoken.
I am eager to understand
Why we all continue to believe
That the life we live is inevitable
Because the truth is....
Life is only what you make of it.
------------------------------------------
You Believed In Me.
My body aches
With forgotten bruises
And unnoticed scars
My mind wanders
Like a lost child,
Wishing on the brightest star.
I continue to believe,
That life will never be,
What I want to make of it
But somewhere between...
The distant smiles
And the light in my eyes
You believed in me.
