When It Snows
White dust falls from a dark sky
Softly hitting the ground
Complete silence echo's
Through the cold night air
Cold fingertips,
Gently brushing against your skin
Trembling lips,
Let me touch them just once...
Eager for passion
The moon disappears
Hiding behind,
The essence of a cloud
White covers all land and sea,
We watch from windows above
From underground, undersea
And for a few moments,
There is a fading innocence
Some have never experienced
This so called, delicacy
Winter Memory
Limbs become numb
As the snow hits my body
Cold dust covers my face
Hitting my nose,
And sticking to my eyelids
I continue walking
Looking for the warmth
In this windy abyss
No matter how cold
My fingertips become,
I will not surrender
To the silence of the night.
